آزمون EPT اسفند ۹۹ در تاریخ ۸ اسفندماه ۱۳۹۹ برگزار گردید. این آزمون، همانند دوره‌های قبل دارای ۱۰۰ سوال بود که به ترتیب شامل ۲۵ تست واژگان، ۴۰ تست گرامر، ۲۰ تست درک مطلب و ۱۵ سوال کلوز تست بوده است.همانند دوره‌های قبل، تمرکز سوالات گرامر بر روی گرامر فعل‌ها بوده است، به طوری که ۳۵ درصد سوالات از ۴۰ سوالات گرامر این آزمون را سوالات مربوط به گرامر افعال از جمله افعال مجهول، اسم مصدر و مصدر، جملات شرطی و افعال ناقص می‌باشد. فصل‌های فعل (فصل سوم جزوه)، فصل صفت و قید (فصل پنجم جزوه) و حروف و کلمات ربطی (فصل هفتم جزوه) دارای بیشترین تعداد سوال در هر آزمون هستند که می‌توان این عدد را بین ۴۰ الی ۶۰ درصد هر آزمون ارزیابی کرد. علیرغم تعداد قابل توجه سوالات از بخش فعل‌ها، در سوالات گرامر آزمون EPT در این دوره، نکته‌ای خارج از آموزش‌های داده شده نبوده است و داوطلبینی که دوره جامع گرامر آزمون زبان EPT را مطالعه کرده بودند، توانستند به درصد بالایی از سوالات این آزمون به درستی پاسخ دهند.

بیش از ۸۰ درصد واژگان استفاده شده در ۱۰۰ سوال این آزمون، در کتاب لغات پرتکرار آزمون EPT تدریس شده بود. در این کتاب، با تمرکز بر روی لغات پرتکرار آزمون EPT در دوره‌های گذشته در ۵ سال اخیر، توانسته داوطلبین را در مدت زمان کوتاه بصورت هدفمند و با برنامه آماده کند. به عبارت دیگر، این کتاب ویژه داوطلبینی‌ که فرصت کوتاهی برای آمادگی آزمون ای پی تی دارند و به دنبال یک مجموعه جامع از واژگان کاربردی هستند، طراحی شده است.

با بررسی آماری کلمات و اصلاحات بکار رفته در بخش سوالات واژگان آزمون EPT اسفند ۹۹، مشخص شد که حدود ۶۹ درصد کلمات بکار رفته در این بخش، بطور مستقیم با کلمات آموزش داده شده در کتاب ۹۰۰ لغت پرتکرار آزمون EPT انطباق کامل داشت. در این دوره سطح سوالات واژگان مطرح شده متوسط ارزیابی شده و از داوطلبینی که این کتاب را مطالعه کرده بودند، انتظار می‌رفت که تعداد بین ۱۶ الی ۲۱ تست را بتوانند به درستی پاسخ دهند چراکه کلمات بکار رفته در این آزمون و همجنین سبک سوالات، دقیقا مشابه تست‌های پاسخ داده شده در کتاب واژگان پرتکرار آزمون EPT بوده است.

Studies are quite unanimous on this issue: Drivers of expensive cars are the worst. A new study has found that drivers of expensive vehicles are less likely to stop and allow pedestrians to cross the road with the likelihood they’ll slow down, decreasing by 3% for every extra $1,000 that their vehicle is worth.

Researchers speculated that the expensive car owners “felt a sense of superiority over other road users” and were less able to empathize with sidewalk-dwellers. They came to this conclusion after asking volunteers to cross a sidewalk hundred times, filming and analyzing the responses by car drivers.

Researchers used one white and one black man, and one white and one black woman. They found that costly cars were more likely to yield for the white and female participants. Vehicles stopped 31% of the time for both women and white participants, compared with 24% of the time for men and 25% of the time for black volunteers.

But the best predictor of whether a car would stop was its price, researchers discovered. They also theorized “Disengagement and a lower ability to interpret thoughts and feelings of others along with feelings of entitlement may lead to a lack of empathy for pedestrians” among costly car drivers.

And the discovery of a car-value to inconsiderate driving-behavior correlation isn’t new. The research backed up a Finnish study recently-published that found drivers of costly vehicles are more likely to be “argumentative, stubborn and disagreeable.”

According to that survey of 1,892 drivers by the University of Helsinki, those deemed to have more disagreeable character traits were among the drivers of expensive automobiles. However, it also found that conscientious people often favor higher-priced vehicles.
